ECWA Women to Fence Bingham Varsity

ECWA Women Fellowship International have expressed their readiness to raise funds towards fencing the main campus of Bingham University located in Karu, Nasarawa State.

International leader of the fellowship, Mrs. Miriam Philips dropped the cheering news while delivering her speech at the opening of the ongoing triennial international conference of ECWA Women Fellowship taking place at the main campus of Bingham University Karu, Nasarawa State.

Mrs. Philip remarked that the university which is strategically sited is already experiencing encroachment and advised that the land which was freely donated by the host community in collaboration with the traditional council, should not be allowed to waste or be taken away.

She admonished the fellowship members not to give into grumbling instead find ways to partake in building God’s kingdom on Earth.

She said: “Our own Bingham University is so unique in so many ways that the enemies have been fighting tooth and nail to see to its downfall.”

The women fellowship leader added that since the enemies are not resting on their oars, the church also not leave any stone unturned towards meeting up the needs and demands of either the church or its institutions.

The EWF leader acknowledged that she is challenged by the various projects being executed by the management of the university and commended the Vice Chancellor and the management for serving sacrificially and doing everything possible towards moving the institution to the next level.  She however, solicited for more support to the institution towards putting in place the needed infrastructure and its quest aimed at providing quality education to all Nigerians.
