Southern and Middle Belt leaders have commiserated with the government and people of Plateau State over the December 2023 Christmas eve attacks that left many dead and property destroyed.

The leaders while on a sympathy visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at Government House in Jos, emphasized the urgent need for State Police nationwide to address the protracted security challenges facing the nation.

The Forum leadership led by the leader of the Pan Yoruba group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo condemned what he termed “the deliberate actions of terrorists elements” invading villages, causing loss of lives and displacing people from their ancestral homes to forcefully seize land.
