Gov Lalong Felicitate with ECWA President on His Re-election, Birthday

Governor Simon Lalong has congratulated the ECWA President, Rev. (Dr) Stephen Baba Panya on his re-election for a second term in office as well as his appointment as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Bingham University.

In a congratulatory signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Makut Simon Machan, Lalong described the re-election of Rev. (Dr) Stephen Baba Panya as well deserved in view of his purposeful leadership he has offered which according to him, has enabled the Church to make more impact in the lives of it’s members and the society.

“The ECWA President’s passion for revival has manifested in enhances mission work leading to the winning of more souls, church planting and expansion, entrepreneurship development and empowerment, as well as investments in health and education,” he stated.

While urging Rev. Panya to consolidate on the achievements of the Church over the years, Governor Lalong assured him of the support and collaboration of the Plateau State Government towards the progress of the Church. The Governor has also felicitated with the ECWA President on his 58th birthday and commended him for devoting his life to the service of humanity and mentoring the youth and prayed God to continue to grant him good health, wisdom and protection.
