Bingham Varsity Gets 22 More Programmes

The National Universities (NUC) has approved 22 additional programmes for Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State.

A statement issued by the institution’s Acting Director, Information and Protocol, D. B. Misal, indicated that the NUC in a letter to the vice chancellor, signed by Dr. N. B. Saliu, Director, Academic Planning for NUC’s Executive Secretary, listed the approved programmes to include Bachelor of Science Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Radiography and Radiological Sciences. Others are Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Mathematics, Bachelor of Science Library and Information Science and Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology.

Other courses approved to be run at Master’s Degree level are in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, Mass Communication and Environmental Chemistry. Others are Masters of Arts Degree in English and Literary Studies, Public Sector Economics, Financial Economics as well as Ph.D. English and Literary Studies, Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communication, Accounting, Biochemistry and Environmental Chemistry.

Following this development, the university is inviting suitably qualified and interested members of the general public to apply for any of these courses of.

The programmes were approved with effect from the 2020/2021 academic session.
