ECWA Unveils 2021 Theme, Dedicates Devotional Guide, Other Study Materials
Christians have been encouraged to focus on the glorious hope found only in Jesus Christ and not dwell on the current challenges facing them.
ECWA President, Rev. Stephen Baba Panya, gave this advice in his exhortation during the official unveiling of ECWA’s 2021 theme, dedication of the devotional guide and other study materials held at the ECWA Headquarters Conference Hall, Jos.
The cleric, who read from Colossians 1:24-27, said that although the human body limits worshiping God and covers up the glowing hope that radiates in the life of a believer, when the believer is transformed through death he will radiate brighter than even the sun.

Rev. Panya regretted that, despite the assurance of that eternal hope, not all people will radiate the glory of God because not everyone had that hope.
He stated that only those who had accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour were assured the glorious hope promised by God.
“What kind of resurrection will you experience? Do you have Christ in you, the hope of glory?” he challenged Christians.
In a vote of thanks, ECWA General Secretary, Rev. Yunusa Sabo Nmadu Jnr, applauded ECWA Productions Limited for the timely printing and release of the materials which included the headquarters’ calendar of activities, the Bible study manual and the 2021 devotional guides.
He also commended the committee for making this years’ programme very unique, which was a departure from what obtained in the past.
The event, which was transmitted live by ECWA TV Africa, had in attendance staff from the various ECWA departments, units and institutions within Jos and featured song ministrations from the ECWA Headquarters Chapel Choir and the Evangel Arts group.
Highpoint of the event was the symbolic unveiling of the theme by the ECWA President, Rev. Stephen Baba Panya, who was supported by the ECWA General Secretary, Rev. Sabo Nmadu Jnr, and the Acting ECWA Assistant General Secretary, Rev. Samuel Atu.
